PROJECTIONS OF YOUR MIND IN YOUR HEAD- DREAMS
On the border of two levels, lies the dilemma of reality and projection,
Believing or made believe?? Losing out or finding more?? Logic failed or emotions win??
Make your choice fast, as the labyrinth of dream just ends, like smoke through chimney the dream is collapsing…
There are the three levels of a human mind, the conscious, sub conscious and the unconscious. The three connected so intently and deeply that it’s hard to draw a line or specific border differentiating the three. They overlap; pass your thoughts through various stages and gives out what we call emotions and reactions.
The conscious to simply put is everything we do when we are awake and aware. Every action that is thought about in the ‘front’ of the mind, is a process done by the consciousness to achieve such an action. Talking to someone, writing, painting, and all sorts of simple everyday actions.
Everything we look around at, is stored in the subconscious mind (SC), like a data base, hard to believe but every single millisecond of your life from birth till the last word you just read is stored in the subconscious mind. Unless you enable a thought process to register any kind of fact, it wouldn’t register consciously. You could be walking in a big crowded street, all faces are formed in your SC, unless you look back at the pretty girl who passed and think she’s pretty, you wouldn’t consciously register that she’s pretty. Walk on a beach, the waves smearing your feet is the feeling you know. Unless you consciously pay attention you cannot enjoy the tantalizing nature of whitely sapphire salt water. As you read the above description of the beach, and pretty girl, the images in your head is of what you have sub-consciously noted. Another function of the SC is to trigger emotions and feelings. This is a more of a complex process as the intricate detail is very hard to find or trace back. On an outline, all thoughts have some kind of feeling attached to them. Remember that SC is a database. So once a thought is formed in conscious, then the SC processes it and gives back a reaction. Like a happy thought makes you smile, sad thought brings tears, anger to irritant behavior. Just the reaction that is required based on surroundings, past experience and ability to think. In case a new kind of thought is formed, a relation is made, and new set of reactions and emotions are pertained. It is very easy to recollect what is stored in conscious mind as compared to SC, an effort and some varied techniques are there to draft out what is there.
The unconscious (UC) is a level of mind that cannot be approached in any way or studied about with the persisting technology. That is because of its complex and deep nature. A whole new dimension in itself. However, it is common knowledge that it gives all reactions of the body towards feelings felt in the SC. Such as adrenalin rush in fight or flight, pumping of heartbeat in fear etc.
Sleep is a state of the mind, where the conscious is put off, SC takes over the whole control and you pass down to a level closer to UC. The more closer you are to UC the more deep sleep state you are in, deepest sleeping being on the border of SC and UC, while passing into UC is more of a medical defect than rest.
Colours, and compendium of shades in the head, so contrast, so complex and so aware like,
Faces and places unrelated, day and night not correlated, yet
Master of situation it may seem in the dream, but beware, it is only a trap to make you believe so.
Hence the SC having taken control, starts a whole new function. It projects images in your mind, this is what we call as dreams. Projections of all the data in your head. This is a data that you were always aware of, hence in a dream, every face, every place , every tiny detail aspect of it seems familiar and non alien, though consciously you know nothing about them.
Dream is often a mixture of places and faces to give a new effect. This Is just a play of your mind. Friends from school, in the college corridor?? Ice cream shop you love to go in Bombay in front of Victoria Mahal in Kolkata?? This is all the combined effect of data you posses in your head. A fleeting thought in the crudest form it might have been in the conscious, yet the registration of it in the SC and its exorbitant manifestation is what you see in the dream. Hence the dream seems in control all the while, rather predictable, and also somewhat real, all due to the awareness factor of the thought in SC.
Unless you wake up, you wouldn’t know that you were dreaming. Flashes of images stuck in your consciousness as you wake up, that is pass from SC to conscious is what helps you recollect and build a dream consciously. How strongly and better you can remember a dream upon awakening depends on how much of emotional attachment and the conscious toll given to thought .
Dreams do have meanings, shows emotions, solves problems, relates you, breaks you, scares you, makes you love, makes you run as it all happens in your head by what is present in your head. You dream every night, every time you sleep the projections start. The SC had been reeled with data, it unreels it like a video as you sleep and dream. Dreamland is one such addictive place for many as everything seems in control and you are your own master…every time you wake, it is not just awakening physically, awakening emotionally, having a greater knowledge about self.
Eccentric, heavenly, and addictive is a dream,
Awakening can wait,
Cus, u see light and darkness, hope and lost, courage and fear,
All yours, always in you,
Jump into the depth of a dream to lose out on reality
And find yourself more deep within,
That is the true awakening…
